Alumni office has held a dialogue with the heads of the university faculties on the eve of the 8th integrated celebration. You can read the interview with Dr. Shaban Alizadeh, the head of the Faculty of Para medicine.
Thank you for your time, Dr. what do you think about the integrated celebration?
Certainly, one of the very good events that happened after a three-year break is the integrated celebration of graduates of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. which evokes empathy and solidarity in the big family of Tehran University Of Medical Sciences. Entering Tehran University of Medical Sciences is a great honour, and the success of this course can be expressed by holding such a celebration.
How do you think the reflection of this celebration will be?
One of the goals that has been established in the whole world is the discussion of investing in the graduates of a university. We all say in the discussion of human resources and human resource management that one of the most valuable assets of any organization is its human resources, and we believe that the university is a man-making factory and a productive and dynamic place. Every year, several thousands of young, active, fresh, dynamic and energetic people enter the university, and after several years of effort, they have a successful exit, and the fact that you hold an annual celebration and show off the success of this university is a sign that the university continues to play a growth, policy making and determining the future of the society.
Part of this celebration is the recognition ceremony for selected professors and students, how do you think the reflection of this recognition will be?
Graduation is a good behaviour. Outstanding and superior people should be seen and universities are the place of excellence. In a general view, we can see that the faculty members, staff and students of this university are all excellent. Of course, not in the sense that they want to claim special rights for themselves, it is more a matter of responsibility. It has happened a lot that they have passed many of their rights for the benefit of their society and country. People who put more effort should be seen and the most important point of this appreciation is to set an example for others. Tehran University of Medical Sciences is a dynamic role model and there are many people who have reached great positions in the country and even the world from this university, who are considered a unique role model.
As the head of the faculty, what advice do you have for the better holding of this celebration?
Alumni Of Tehran University Of medical sciences has passed a good maturity in the past years, since the first period when this celebration was held in an integrated manner, it has been accompanied by ups and downs, the quality of the event, the venue and the guests who make it a very memorable day. It is very important that students expect to have good memories of Tehran University of Medical Sciences on this day for a lifetime. In my opinion, if prominent people, especially graduates of medical sciences, are invited to give valuable words about their successes, in order to create an incentive for others, especially graduates, to move a path for their life.
Can you say a congratulatory message and a lasting word for the graduates?
From the bottom of my heart, on behalf of the family of Paramedical Faculty of Tehran University Of Medical Sciences, I congratulate all the dear and talented students of Tehran Medical Sciences on their graduation and I hope that they will be successful in all stages of their lives. Where we were born and in which family we were born is not in our hands, but what we want to become is in our hands. Man has no limits to achieve his great goals. So try to achieve your dreams. There is a famous sentence that says, people don't have more than two ways, either others hire them to achieve their dreams or they try to achieve their dreams themselves. I hope all the students and graduates of Tehran Medical Sciences get what they deserve.
