According to the public relations of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, in a ceremony honouring the professor and appreciating the lasting efforts of Dr. Ramazan Ali Sharifian, which was hosted by the Department of Internal Medicine of the University on Monday, May 10, 2022 in the Dar al-Fonun Hall of the Central Organization; Dr. Ramazan Ali Sharifian, former director of the internal medicine department of the medical school, stated that holding this ceremony is in line with the value of knowledge and learning; He said: "I am very worried and I have whatever you are worried about, but I do not like the extra and unexpected expectation. I believe we should help in any situation."

He pointed out that the internal group with 150 faculty members is one of the largest departments in the university; He reminded: the members of this group are scattered in several hospitals affiliated to the university and are providing services to patients.

Dr. Sharifian further pointed out some of the problems and challenges that existed in the internal group and added: "We tried to have good activities in the topics of reviewing medical education and finally the faculty officials had a good cooperation with the internal group."

He said: I warmly shake the hands of all the loved ones who worked together in the internal group and I especially thank all my veterans and dear colleagues.

He reminded: It's great to be a disciple along with veteran elders, including; professor  Nafisi, professor Morshed, etc. I am proud and ashamed that I could not behave like those great men.

Dr. Sharifian emphasizes to students to serve the patient with respect; He noted: "I thank all the friends and colleagues for their efforts and contributions during the time I was in charge of the group manager, because I owe the progress achieved to the love of each and every one of you."

Then, Dr. Hossein Qanati, the president of the university, referring to the broadcast of the first clip of the ceremony, which was about the values ​​and real position of Iran, said his words with this verse from Rumi: "It is necessary to be proud of the past, but it is not enough," he began.

He referred to the background of Tehran University of Medical Sciences from the beginning of the Academy of Arts until now and added: "Although the management dynasty in the university has had different views, it has not stopped the growth and prosperity of the university because sweat and zeal in the university do not depend on management."

Dr. Qanati reminded: Medical Payments issue is almost finalized and will be announced, God willing, it is our duty to follow up with the relevant officials, and we hope that we will not be ashamed of you.

"The internal medicine group is medical," he said. He added: "About 100 members of the faculty played a key role in preparing and compiling the comprehensive medical education review program, and God willing, a great change will be created with the implementation of this program."

Dr. Qanati continued: "One of the obstacles to the growth of science is a purely materialistic and immoral view. An example of this is the induction of companies in the field of treatment. We should not spend money for no reason. We must establish justice and ensure the health of the people.

He pointed out that Tehran University of Medical Sciences as the mother university is superior to other medical universities; He pointed out: Tehran University of Medical Sciences has always been a model and we have presented comprehensive programs to other universities because the outstanding professors of the university have made changes and we can generalize to other universities.

The President of the University said that he witnessed how many loved ones sacrificed their lives for the comfort of the compatriots of this borderland during the holy defense." What we do is significant compared to their efforts. God Almighty is with all of us and there is no unsolvable problem with God.

Dr. Qanati referred to the memory of the late Professor Muslim Bahadori and added: "We must remain as honorable as this professor and work until the last moment of life." Up to four weeks before his death, Professor Bahadori kindly discussed issues and problems with me and even gave me solutions.

The President of the University further referred to the development of master plans for the four-year period from 1400 to 1404, which was published, and said: We do not have the impossible.

He stated: The management model I have chosen is "flat model" in the sense that unlike other existing organizational structures, flat organizations are really flat; In other words, there is no job title, boss, manager, senior, everyone is equal. "Everyone should feel involved in advancing the university."

In conclusion, Dr. Qanati appreciated the efforts made by Dr. Sharifian during the management of the internal group and wished success, pride, prosperity and a good end to all and that in the hereafter we will all proudly enter the Professor's  house.

Explain that in the commemoration ceremony and appreciation of Dr. Ramazan Ali Sharifian's lasting efforts, Professor Farhad Shahram, Professor Hamidreza Zakeri, Professor Mohammad Jafar Qaravash, Professor Siavash Naseri Moghadam and Professor Shahin Meraat, retired professors of the internal group in 1400, were appreciated.
