The fourth meeting of the scientific committee of the sixth seminar on professional commitment in the health system was held.

At the beginning of this meeting, which was held on Saturday, December 24  2022, with the presence of the members of the scientific committee of the professional commitment seminar and held in the alumni office, Dr. Seyed Mansour Gatmiri, the head of the university alumni office, said: As discussed in the previous meetings, The constancy of professional commitment in the field of health with a view to infrastructure, individual, social and organizational requirements is the topic of this year's seminar, and it was decided to be the sixth seminar of professional commitment, apart from the festival section, in four panels with the topics of professional commitment in crisis, chaired by Dr. Ahmad Noorbala, panel Individual requirements in the constancy of professional commitment, chaired by Dr. Shahin Akhundzadeh, the panel on the role of organizations in the constancy of professional commitment, chaired by Dr. Mohammad Jalili, and the panel on the role and reform of infrastructure in professional commitment, chaired by Dr. Seyed Hassan Emami Razavi.

He continued: Because the corona crisis has decreased this year, the seminar will be held in person. However, the possibility of using the on-line platform will be provided for the participation of more interested people, and it is also possible to record the programs up to 70% of the time of the panels in the alumni office provided that the respected members of the panels must be present at the seminar venue on the day of the seminar. It is possible to answer the audience's questions face-to-face.

Dr. Gatmiri added: Since there is little time left until the day of the seminar, the slides and materials of the speaker should be finalized by January 15th of this month, unless it is a face-to-face lecture. According to the proposal of the colleagues, retraining or cultural points are awarded to the participants.

In the following, Dr. Seyyed Hasan Emami Razavi, one of the members of the scientific committee of the seminar and the head of the panel for evaluating and investigating the role of infrastructure in strengthening the constancy of professional commitment, while finalizing the speakers of the panel on the role and reform of infrastructure in professional commitment, suggested that the participants living in Tehran must be present in To participate in the seminar, of course, apart from the exceptions, the retraining points will be allocated only to the participants in person if the university officials agree.

He also emphasized that the time allotted for the speakers should be managed so that we do not run out of time during the question and answer session. We ask colleagues who are active in the professional ethics education group to participate in this seminar so that the level of participation in this seminar will increase due to their direct connection with professional commitment.

In the continuation of the meeting, professor Dr. Mohammad Jalili, the head of the panel on the role of organizations in the constancy of professional commitment, while presenting a report on the actions taken for the topics of the speeches and panel members under his responsibility, said: The panel members and speakers and the topics of the speeches of our meeting have also been announced to the seminar secretariat and in We are finalizing this process.

In the continuation of the meeting, Dr. Seyed Mohammadreza Seydahmadian, Secretary of the Alumni Office, Dr. Abdulrahman Rostamian, Dr. Ahmad Jalili, Professor of the Department of Emergency Medicine and a member of the Department of Medical Education, Dr. Ibrahim Razmpa, a member of the scientific committee of the seminar, gave their opinions and suggestions regarding the topics of the panels. The panel members presented how to manage the meetings as well as methods of encouraging the seminar participants.

It is reminded that the 6th seminar on professional commitment in health will be held on 26th and 27th of  January 2023 at the place of In Sina Hall of Medical Faculty of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
