75th ceremony of University establishment anniversary was held with presence of Dr Dastjerdi, health, treatment and medical education minister, Dr Larijani, Head of University, and a group of professors and Alumni with special message of president in Ibnesina hall.
75th ceremony of University establishment anniversary was held on 3th March 2008 with presence of Dr Dastjerdi, health, treatment and medical education minister, Dr Larijani, Head of University, and a group of professors and Alumni with special message of president in Ibnesina hall.
In this Ceremony that was held with presence of Dr Dastjerdi, health, treatment and medical education minister, Dr Larijani, Head of University, and a group of professors and Alumni in Ibnesina hall, after reciting some verses of holy Quran and respecting to national anthem, Dr Mohagheghi read President Message that in this message, Dr Ahmadinejad respected to the Science and University and Academics and from bottom of his heart praised efforts of professors and University’s smart students.
After that, Dr Bahadori, Head of Contact with Alumni Office after congratulation to Alumni added:” Tehran University Medical Sciences with more than one hundred thousand graduates have done great service and many of these alumni have gotten great positions in different countries that the University is proud.”
Dr Mosafa, Head of Contact with dentistry Alumni office praised all the organizers of the event and the chancellor for making the impossible to possible in no time.
In his speech, Dr. Bagher Larijani praised the former chancellors and managers of the University who had helped the university to reach its present status during the past 75 years. He then emphasized the university deserved being a model of higher education in Iran as it is worthy and offered new models in medical education.

The former faculty member and the present health minister, Dr Vahid-dastjerdi was the last one to give her speech. She said: “We are here to commemorate and respect the work of the professors of the University who helped us to be the best medical faculty in the country and is the 365th in the world”. She also emphasized that by scientific power of Iranian civilization we would succeed.
At the end, the attendees, visited the exhibition and erected a monument about Tehran University establishment in 1934 in the College earth.
