Appreciation from 35 winners in 18th Avicenna festival
TUMSAO News: in 18th Avicenna festival was appreciated from 14 winners in the field of research, 16 winners in the field of education, 3 winners in the field of providing special services and 2 winners of Tehran University of medical sciences.
TUMSAO News: Avicenna festival was held in 1st February in Avicenna Hall, with aim of introduction of prominent research, educational activities and special services in health fields like as health treatment, Medical ethics and management.
At the first of festival, Dr. Younesian deputy research and technology for TUMS and festival secretary said:’ there is complete cooperation in all the fields especially education and research fields in TUMS.’
Secretary of festival added:’ in research field among 120 candidates, 14 persons, in educational field among 87 candidates, 16 persons and in 26 candidates 3 persons should have been selected.
He added:’ Of course accordance to past years that is common, 2 winners was selected from Tehran University.’
After that, Dr. Malekzadeh deputy research and technology of health ministry added:’ accordance to Scopus report, more than 47,700 articles and scientific documents was registered with Iranian scientists and we could achieve 16th rank.’
He added:’ for the 1st time in past year approximately 15000 articles and scientific documents in medical scientific fields have been published that is a considerable quantity growth.
After him Dr. Larijani deputy education of health ministry said:’ in late decades, health and treatment discussions in medical Universities were paid attention very much and in order to reform and innovation program in medical education, it is edited and this conversation has been established in Universities and it has reached to good aims.’
He noted to bill of land planning of SCCR and said: ’it is for the first time that a bill has been issued that medical education is targeted ’
At following, Dr. Jafarian Head of University said:’ this festival is a good opportunity to talk with each other.’ He added:’ in late months has been executed many programs that one of most important of them is realization of occupational commitment.’ He also added:’ one of most important activities in the field of education quality is establishment of the evaluation system that eliminates problems and improves education quality.’
