TUMSAO: This ceremony was held with present of managers, subordinate units and pioneer professors like as Dr Yalda, Dr Bahadori, and Dr Shams. They expressed their devotion to old head, and cooperated with new head of University.

In this ceremony, Dr Bahadori head of alumni office, after appreciation from Dr Mansouri that he could manage University in hard times, he expressed his hope to remain these good effects always. He also said:’ TUMS through these years has many achievements in different fields of learning, research and health services. All people that have been come to health territory are valuable people. We must appreciate from valuable people. TUMS is as oldest university in Iran and especially is Mother University.’ Through more than 78 years, this University exploited from many prominent professors like as Dr Adl, Professor Shams, Dr Gharib, Dr Larijani, Dr Dastjerdi, Dr Mansouri and ….

And now University is honored to appoint one of its professors     (Dr Jafarian) as head of University, I hope accordance to old activities of old heads of University, Dr Jafarian maintains its Excellency.

At the end, he added:’ I am sure that Dr Jafarian can do positive projects with his patience, regard to justice and his intelligence as one of alumni, and I hope empathy and cooperative of responsible and University continues until Tehran University Medical Sciences can step with helps of these dears. ’

At continuation of this ceremony, Dr Larijani said:’ many tornadoes have threatened many Universities in different times but management art is maintaining of University.’

He said:’ deep evaluation of university needs evaluation of situations that university has had. Dr Larijani said about Dr Mansouri, his mental health is very high, he could maintain University in a short time. Dr Jafarian is familiar with %80 of University’s activities.’

 Tehran University Medical Sciences speech:’ when I came here, I understood conditions and accepting this responsibility was very hard, isolation was very stressing.’

He said:’ some colleagues were afraid that changing management may establish problems but Tehran University Medical Sciences is powerful.’

Dr Mansouri noted to his managerial records in TUMS and said:’ I was asistant of Dr Bastan Hagh, in time of isolation of TUMS from Tehran University.’

At continuation of this ceremony, Dr Jafarian head of Tehran University Medical Sciences said:’ History of this University is 160 years’, he added:’ naturally many responsible of University have successes and in some places may have been occurred some mistakes, Tehran University Medical Sciences has many powerful point in the field of human resource.’

He was head of medical school in a short time; he noted to cooperation history with Dr Larijani and said:’ People reference to our remedial centers is powerful point of our university but physical infrastructure is weakness point. More of our hospitals have a history of 45 years and our schools haven’t a better condition, resource shortage is another weakness point of our university.’

He also noted to appointments and said this government has provided many conditions until we can use all tastes, and not to conflict with marginal currents.

He said:’ for new education year, we have selected slogan of regard to others, until we can view cultural jumping.’

At continuation of this ceremony, Dr Hashemi said:’ I believed that we have missed many opportunities but I believe that morality and culture has not been enough for our country.’

Health minister said:’ University is cradle of science and must be alive, University must be political until its university can be powerful.’

He added:’ Tehran University Medical Sciences has a great right, great humans have managed there like as Dr Siasee that managed more than one decade.’

Dr Hashemi said that we hope Dr Jafarian can afford to his responsibility very well, I expect him to use all University’s capacity. 

 He appreciated from Dr Mansouri and said:’ I don’t want to compare others but Dr Mansouri was a great man that in his responsibility course defended from Tehran University Medical Science. Although in this course, problems were very much, because of this case, he was appreciated.

Dr Hashemi said that we hope Dr Jafarian can afford to his responsibility very well, I expect him to use all University’s capacity.
