Dr Abulhasan nadim expressed that interesting is the first condition for entrance to health science
TUMSAO News: Dr Nadim noted that interesting of student and professor and students’ reception in society are the first condition for entrance to health science
TUMSAO News: He was born in 1928; he was a shiny student and was first rank in his graduate course. In those days nobody knew that today we will witness of his national services.
Dr Abulhasan Nadim, did many services for promotion of country like as inauguration of medical research station in Isfahan, department of Tehran University health, lunching of Immunization scheme, responsible of WHO’s regional scheme, inauguration of research methodology courses, member of medical sciences academy, publication of more than 120 articles in domestic and foreign countries, edition of best book of year with title of leishmaniasis and leishmania, cooperation in the field of some books like widespread patients.
Please express more how to select this health college as your service place.
After ending of public physician course and military service, I was looking for a job; I entered to epidemiology class that its salary was 600 tomans. I went to USA in 1969 and in there after graduated in epidemiology specialty I came back to Iran. I could reach to popularity among employees and I am only head that before and after revolution could be head of school.
In your opinion, how can young alumni exploit from your experiences and other veteran professors?
At our service time, necessary facilities were provided, mostly work with interest, of course at now some people work lovely.
In your opinion, how can we communicate with Iran and world veterans and share their experiences for promotion of school’s targets?
With new technology in this age, this case is not a very difficult for us, some people insist on staying in Tehran and expressing that our scientific communications with world is more in here. This idea is not good, you can find each people in internet and another way is participating in international congresses. Meetings with professors that have been participated in congress are more important than main session. Before that it must be detected that what questions must be asked and what guidance must be gotten. We can communicate with professor with Email, they respond to emails every time.
Please name one of the best professors in education course that was a convenient example for you?
In course of parasitology, late Dr. naser Ansari, that was founder of parasitology chair and was our veteran. He was my guidance until his last age days.Of course other professors were our examples in other ways.
Please explain more about scientific articles, books and innovations.
I have written many articles, I have not written these articles only for gradation, I have done these works for my job. In many articles my name is in the end. There is not any article that my name is not in that article. Even in 2010, I have 2 articles. About book I don’t believe to it, because about scientific book I can say it will be old very soon. About written books I can say that it was appreciated from us. In edition of some books’ chapters for example ‘current patients in Iran’ I have cooperated. I have translated some books.
Since this ceremony is held for the first time; please explain your opinion about this ceremony and its continuation.
I think that this ceremony is a good work in the country, some times in the country one work is done and persons do many works but don’t appreciate from them. I think that target of these ceremonies are appreciation from them.
