Dr Bahadori said that Tehran University Medical Sciences is factor of proud for country in the field of medical sciences
TUMSAO News: Veteran professor of Tehran University Medical Sciences and head of contact with alumni office, in closing ceremony of 4th international congress of Dr Yalda said about newest achievements and researches in cellular to clinical medicine and also noted to 1700 years old antiquity in Iran.
In this ceremony that was held in 29.10.2013, with presence of Dr Yalda, Dr Jafarian, Dr Ranjbar, Dr Bahadori, Dr Gatmiri and Dr Saied Ahmadian, Dr otograph head of cultural part of Germany embassy in Iran and some scientists of medical science that live in Germany.
Dr Bahadori, head of contact with alumni office in TUMS, after appreciation from participants, said:’ Professor Yalda has been servicing to TUMS and students for many years.’ And added:’ Medical Sciences University in Iran has a several thousand year antiquity but unfortunately most of written documents have been lost in such way that when we take a look at Iran and Greece history, Greece had been able to maintain its medical history’, he also said about medicine history in Iran:’ most important medical work is Avesta book and history of Jundishapur school medicine that this school was established through Greek, Indian and Iranian medicines’, he also added:’ we can proud to ourselves that we have such these medicines.’ Dr Bahadori noted to first school in course of Amir Kabir and added:’ with initiative of Amir Kabir, School of Darolfonun was established.’
He also continued:’ in year of 1938, medicine school, dentistry school and pharmacy school were combined to each other. Medicines that were doctoring at that time, no certificate was provided for them. In exception of Sina Hospital, there wasn’t any medicine school at that time.’
Head of alumni office added:’ after revolution in 1986, medical schools with their subsidiary hospitals were separated from sciences ministry and under supervision of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education continued its work.’
He at the end of his speech said:’ Tehran University of medical sciences is one of the region honors and is one of greatest and most prominent University in the world. He also thanked from Professor Ranjbar and their colleagues and Iranian scientists and also TUMS and alumni office’s colleagues.’
