Dr. Mohammad Ali persistent face of 2011 said that he was the first person could bring human genetic science to Iran and he taught this lesson through 30 years.

This proficient of Tehran University Medical Science, in respond of this question that what are reasons for your choice as persistent face? He added:’ in all of this time, we help all of people who have the hereditary disabilities.’

He has been able to inaugurate 3 genetic centers in Iran and said:’ one of these centers is in Hospital Akbarabadi that we had duty to give pre-marriage counseling and survey them through blood’

Dr Modavi added:’ we made rehabilitation and welfare school and I taught there for 12 yrs and I have been retired 6 months.

Dr Molavi with humility said:’ I’m not very important people and perhaps through this reason, I have been selected.’

It needs to explain that in 8^th conference of Iran persistent faces that was held in T.V conference that was appreciated from 23 persistent faces. TUMS shined with 3 persistent faces.

Biography of Dr mohammad ali molavi:

Childhood and education

My great grandfather was a great man that after Russia revolution immigrated to Iran and lived in Tabriz.

After passing public course, for 4 years I was dispatched to Paris and I was studying there.

Teaching in the University

I came back home in 1954 and after passing exams, I entered to University faculty, After 3 yrs, mornings I achieved infectious part that genetic patients were hospitalized. Also surveying and comparing of twins were doing there.

In 1962 in behalf of world health organization, I went Denmark for completion of genetic course within three months I've used it very well. In 1964 in behalf of W.H.O, for passing 1 month course, I went U.S.A.

In 1958, I was determined as a genetic proficient in behalf of world health organization.

Research activities and executive posts

My articles were surveyed in the entire magazines about hereditary illness on that time. I speech in many places and I did many guide papers about hereditary and infectious illness. Many students called me as Mr genetic, because at that time, there was not this course in University.

After 2 yrs, I was invited in 1995 to university welfare science and rehabilitatin to build a genetic research centre. At that time a building with preliminary equipment has been provided for us.

Compilations and prizes

Illness principles of human hereditary illness, Chromosomal and metabolic illness in many more articles and books have been written.

In 2013 for unsparing efforts in medical courses, I have received appreciation medal in behalf of health and medical ministry.

Family life, Leisure and entertainment

I have married in 32th years; my marriage result was a son that had studied economy in one of the English universities and was living there that unfortunately died.

At now, I study 7-8 hour, until now I am a student. I work with internet and 1-2 hours I walk.
