We are in threshold of 7^th integrated ceremony, can you explain more about situation of nursing school and its alumni?

            Antiquity of our school is about 70 years and we donate about 105.000 alumni in bachelor level, 556 alumni in master level and 127 alumni in PhD level to health society that they are faculty of universities around the country.

            Among your alumni, there are faculties of other schools, what it shows?

            In fact these alumni are ambassadors of Tehran University of Medical Sciences; All of teachings that they trained from their professors; All of them are milestones in future of their occupation and we must provide best educational quality until they can play more effective role in health and scientific systems because this is a two-way communication.

            Can you explain more about role of alumni of nursing and midwifery school in society?

            If our approach is comprehensive, all health society members will have their places and if they don’t play their roles, it will affect all of health system and in group of treatment and clinical field, nurses are multiple groups and have effective roles in health system; I think comprehensive approach to health means supervising all of members that are effective in this field and they have important role.

            In your opinion, what field does school provide until alumni comeback for joint affairs?

             I think one of main beneficiaries of school is school’s alumni and this is school’s duty to provide a special field to communicate alumni and school easily; around the world reliable universities keep contact with their alumni to analyze how much they are successful in the field of scientific and health affairs.

            You as a dean of greatest and oldest midwifery school, what’s your expectation from midwifery and nursing school’s alumni?

            I think University has rights and alumni must be aware from their duties; if bilateral contact is maintained, this contact will be closer and we’ll be closer to our needs because we are moving to 3^rd generation.

What’s your opinion about integrated ceremony that is held contemporary for internal & foreign students?

Graduation has sweet moments that occur one time in the life of an alumnus; as internal student is our ambassador in society, foreign students are our ambassador in their country. If these moments are pleasant and more persistent, it will emphasize more.

 What’s your final message for students, families and professors?

I want to say that our students and their professors must be proud of being in Tehran University of Medical sciences because this University is symbol of high education and this ceremony is a great honor that it belongs them. I want to congratulate them intimately, they must be proud of them and I have best wishes for them.
