First meeting of contact with alumni office of Tehran University Medical Sciences in year of 1392
TUMSAO News: First meeting of contact with alumni office of Tehran University Medical Sciences was held with presence of contact with alumni office and responsible of contact with alumni offices in hospitals and affiliated schools in date of 2013.04.30.
TUMSAO News: At the first of this meeting, Dr Bahadori after expressing happy New Year and happy Milad, emphasized to separation of Tehran University Medical Sciences and Iran and said:’ contact with alumni office mustn’t solve in this wave but it must ride on this wave. He noted that this separation not only is a reasonable work but also it is a political work and regretted for participating some faculties in this issue and added faculty should accept this problem and apply for solving this problem. In this condition, contact with alumni office’s duty is heavier because it can use from University alumni for promotion of Tehran University Medical Sciences place. This office is only place that can exploit from alumni for University.’
At the following this meeting, head of contact with alumni office added:’ there is not any doubt that Tehran University Medical Sciences has an especial place and must remain in this place, But we must compensate damage of university soon as possible and accordance to that contact with alumni office’s duty is more than others. Veteran professor of University with noting to Incuriosity of some people in issues of combination and separation of Tehran and Iran Universities said that until date of 2013.07.22 all of research and educational activities will be done on behalf of Tehran University Medical Sciences, but for these happens, University education may be damaged.’
He noted that one of the most important programs that have been delayed for university’s separation is holding of alumni integrated celebration.
In another part of his speech said:’ we are not in good situation for making decision and we should wait to see final conditions of university therefore we can’t propose an exact date for celebration, therefore until clarifying University’s conditions, contact with alumni office’s members will decide about date of holding second integrated ceremony.’ At the end of his speech, he wanted audience to express their school conditions and express their comments about holding this ceremony.
At following this ceremony, Dr Mosafa responsible of contact with alumni office in the dentistry school added that for not being a similar school in Iran University we have not any serious problems in this field.
Dr Akhavan responsible of contact with alumni office in health school said that we had many efforts during 2.5 years in the field of universities’ combination.
With noting to affairs that have been occurred in combination, said that at now separation process is slower than past combination and all colleagues are waiting for final comment until they can decide accordance these conditions.
Dr Akhavan at following his speeches about holding date delay of alumni ceremony said that this decision is convenient and emphasized that until final decisions in behalf of governmental legislators, it’s better to delay this ceremony.
Mrs. vasegh former responsible of contact with alumni office expressed that at the first, nothing was clear and school responsible were in limbo and don’t know fate of this ceremony.
At following this meeting Dr Jamshidi, responsible of contact with alumni office in management school said that Tehran University hasn’t any management school therefore our school alumni are very concerns that they may be without sponsor in the future.
Mrs. zahedi noted to establishment of subset sites for schools and University alumni centers and added that at now in addition to schools, conditions for delivery of centers’ sites were provided, she wanted from contact with alumni offices responsible that introduce their responsible for receiving of needed information and relevant access and inform all of college students to register in their sites.
Head of contact with alumni office about holding second alumni integrated ceremony said:’ despite of current problems, before separation of two universities more than 1500 alumni have registered that information about celebration through short message service will be sent’.
Dr seyed Ahmadian at the end of this summit, for summarizing colleagues’ comments expressed:’ contact with alumni office continues their activities but until clarifying separation conditions, no celebration will be held.’
In accordance to this report, at the end of this ceremony Dr Bahadori said that Mrs. vasegh is one of the first founders of contact with alumni office in nursing school and activated in central office was very well, for appreciation of her activities, we donate an appreciation plaque. Also in behalf of colleagues for teacher’s day one gift was donated to Dr Bahadori.
