Fourth international newest medical achievements / Dr Bahadori: head of contact with alumni office speech
TUMSAO News: Dr Bahadori said:’ most important programs of alumni office is establishing foundations and holding congress naming prominent professors.’
TUMSAO: In threshold of fourth international newest medical achievements, we communicated with head of alumni office, to be aware from current programs of alumni office.
Professor thank you for allocating your valuable time for us, please explain more about long-term and short-term programs.
Alumni Office is new established section in our University, our short-term program is collecting alumni together and if they have problem with establishing contact with University, we try to solve it. This program is occurred approximately 7-8 times in each year. From other short-term programs of office is graduation celebration that we hold this ceremony as integrated celebration, in addition to this if schools want to hold a celebration, alumni office can cooperate with them, another duty of alumni office is contacting with foreign and domestic alumni, of course in Yalda’s congress, some of young researchers and pioneers in different fields are appreciated. This year approximately 30 foreign and domestic researchers in 6 fields will be appreciated.
What’s your opinion about scientific foundations in establishing connection with researchers?
Collecting these members of scientific foundations leads to close relation with them and this congress is held yearly and contains all of specialties and public courses and this congress will lead to contact among scientists in the world.
One of our programs is holding some congresses for prominent professors belonged to Tehran University Medical Sciences and we hope in first step for establishing these foundations, alumni will act and this will lead to close relation among them.
What’s your opinion about domestic and international researchers and how they act?
We can contact alumni through internet, if they want to hold a scientific or cultural congress, accordance to equipments that we have established, we can hold congress for them.
