Graduation ceremony of International course of MBBS was held
1st Graduation ceremony of the International course of MBBS was held with the presence of Dr. Ayati deputy for the International part of TUMS.
This ceremony was held on Wednesday 12th January in conference hall of alumni office.
At the first, Dr. Ayati said:' I congratulate your graduation in General Medicine, this course is holy because it deal with life. one who walks in the path of caring for the lives of human beings is in line with the command of God'.
He also added:' the history of medicine in Iran dates back to several thousand years ago, scientists like Ebnesina, Jordanian many services to Medicine course'.
He also expressed:' some books of Ibnesina had been educated in Europe for many years that had great role in promotion of medical Sciences'.
After him, Dr. Gatmiri vice chancellor of alumni office speech:' before pandemic, graduation ceremony had been holding in behalf of alumni office that in greatest ceremony, 6000 alumni celebrated their graduation'.
He also noted that alumni office inaugurated International branch in Budapest and establishing scientific, cultural foundation of Dr. Bahadori.
Dr. Getmiri expressed the we hope that one day the Alumni Office will have an active branch in each of the international student countries as the university's scientific ambassadors.
Dr. Arman Zargaran, manager of International Development, Vice President for International Affairs, also addressed the students and said: "As of today, you are a member of the family of graduates of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, so I congratulate you on your graduation and membership in this large family." May the memory of studying at university always be with you.
He also said:' The International Vice Chancellor of the University will accompany you in continuing this relationship, and I hope to meet all of you again to study in Iran and Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
At the end of the ceremony, with the presence of Dr. Getmiri and Dr. Zargaran, the medical oath and gifts were given to the students and the graduation cake of the first group of international MBBS students was cut'.
