In an exclusive interview with the university's public relations, the Minister of Health congratulated the New Year and called Tehran University of Medical Sciences a symbol of the country's higher education, saying: "We have always given a special place to this university." Referring to the great progress of the country in medical sciences, Dr. Ainollahi called the role of Tehran University of Medical Sciences is important in these developments and said: "Our country's field of treatment is equivalent to the developed countries of the world and Tehran University of Medical Sciences is one of the leaders in this country.

Various fields such as basic sciences, clinical sciences, pharmacy and dentistry have done excellent work. Minister of Health added that the measures taken so far are the basis and infrastructure for future developments: "We should not be satisfied with the current position because by the order of the Supreme Leader we can play an important role in scientific authority." Referring to the most important actions of the university in the field of scientific authority, Dr. Ainollahi said: "In the field of attracting foreign students and scientific exchanges with different countries of this university, it has made many efforts and with another revolutionary movement can gain scientific authority in the region and the world."

Dr. Ainollahi emphasized on the fair distribution of facilities and said: The justice and excellence program of the health system has been developed. Completing this part of his speech, he added: "In Tehran, there is a lot of discrimination between rich and poor areas, while the population density is higher in the south of Tehran, but there are few hospitals and medical centers in this area and eliminating this discrimination is one These are programs that are on the agenda of universities, and in Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Qanati is carrying out important projects in the south of Tehran.

The Minister of Health considered the field of health as one of the other priorities of the health system and said: "Paying attention to health can prevent many diseases. In this regard, Tehran University of Medical Sciences and other universities in the country are carrying out several programs."

Dr. Ainollahi, referring to the role-playing of Tehran University of Medical Sciences in the field of education, said: "The main task of the University is education and student education." In this field, too, most of the teachings of Tehran University of Medical Sciences were present during the corona and virtual trainings were held in a limited way. I hope that the educational activities will accelerate so that we can offer what the students deserve.

The need for constant reminders of self-confidence in the university

Dr. Hossein Qanati, President of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, also welcomed his colleagues to this year's Nowruz visit due to the change in time compared to previous years, indicating their interest in the university.

Referring to the great changes in the health system, the president of the university said: "Before the revolution, doctors were mainly Pakistani and Indian and could not communicate well with patients, but today I have reached a point where we are one of the world's leading indicators in all advanced treatments. Dr. Qanati positively assessed the quantitative and qualitative progress of education and health services in the country and said: "In this field, we have achieved good indicators. Referring to the developments in the field of production of knowledge-based products, the president of the university said: "We have reached self-sufficiency in the field of manufacturing medical equipment." Tehran University of Medical Sciences has produced as much medical equipment as all industrial universities, and all advanced devices of robotic surgeon, neuro-navigation, gamma camera and many other advanced equipments are fully produced in Tehran University of Medical Sciences. This shows that we can and should constantly remind self-sufficiency and self-confidence.

Dr. Qanati informed about the activity of at least one thousand start-up companies in Shahid Soleimani camp and said: with the emphasis of the Minister of Health in completing Shahid Soleimani city, I hope we can bring the knowledge-based products to a place where at least one thousand start-up companies operate in the university. In this regard, more than 43% of the world's advanced and up-to-date drugs in the treatment of cancer are produced in the university, which I hope will increase this trend.

Referring to the university's various programs in the field of educational, administrative and IT developments, the president of the university said: "I hope that with the development of IT and the improvement of processes, paper will be removed from the administrative and hospital system and we will achieve higher efficiency."

At the end of his speech, Dr. Qanati emphasized on the coherent and coordinated activity of all public relations of the subordinate units with the public relations of the university headquarters and said: this is an administrative order and all heads of faculties and hospitals should emphasize their public relations in a coordinated and coordinated manner with public relations. Dr. Torabi called the new century the century of media transformation and said: "If there is a media transformation in the university, the university can work in its dignity at the regional and international level."

Explaining Sina Media, the University Public Relations Manager said: "Sina will be a world-class scientific media whose main activity is to introduce various scientific aspects of the university."

Referring to the importance of this media in the university, Dr. Torabi said: "According to the new intermetric index, which measures the activity of academics in publishing scientific topics of universities on social networks, Sina Media wants to create integration in publishing scientific activities of universities in media and social networks." In this regard, it is necessary for research centers, colleges and hospitals to institutionalize this movement in their collection.
