Interview with Mrs. Dr. Nategh, veteran professor of health school

In there in the lab they had good activities on anthro viruses to separate them and investigating, especially on polio virus. I worked there and came back after a year and again in collaboration with other partners, identify and research in relation with anthro polio virus, launched those sections and it was so good because in 1373 Iran along with other countries started to program polio eradicating.

                                                                              

 

 

 

            Hello and thank you give us your time; can you introduce yourself a summary of your academic and personal life for us.

 

 

I thanks, I am Dr. rakhshandeh nategh. I spent school period in Tehran. For studying medicine I went to Switzerland where I spent the medical course and then returned to Iran. I was employed at the college of Public Health. Department of Health chose because I interested in Virology and because I have a doctorate thesis on diphtheria in Microbiology and there were necessary facilities for me. There was Virology Section in the newly established college.

I worked there and came back after a year and again in collaboration with other partners, identify and research in relation with anthro polio virus,  launched those sections and it was so good because in 1373 Iran along with other countries started to program polio eradicating.

 How can young graduates use your experience and veteran professors for enhancing of creativity and innovation?

Students must be aware of activities done in sections and recognize kind of activities and what efforts, their professors are doing and it’s good; they will be interested and must be hopeful and most important issue that are interested and are hopeful. Be sure whatever they effort, one day they will success.

What advice do you have for those who want to enter in health sciences?

I think the health sciences are basic foundation of medicine and if consider the various courses taught at this college we Will see that all of them are interesting. Its necessary to work on these areas.

Can you please explain about your research activities?

My activities had been about viruses and anthro viruses specially polio and activities in lunching of central laboratory of polio detection and I had cooperation with world health organization and my articles with my colleagues had been about anthro viruses specially polio viruses.
