TUMSAO: In this meeting that was held on Sunday 3rd October, with presence of Dr. Bahadori, Dr. Ghenaati Dean of University  and Dr. Gatmiri vice chancellor and Dr. Zahedi public affairs manager, was emphasized on reinforcement of cultural programs of alumni office.

At the first of this meeting, Dr. Bahadori congratulsted Dr. Ghenaati appointment as Dean of University.

He added:' Tehran University Of Medical Sciences is an old University & is more than 160 years old'.

He added:' one of problems is that role of our alumni in health promotion   of country isn't clear, they are using to service while their University's name is hidden.

This office has different duties that its most important ones are holding graduated ceremony & establishing alumni network.

He also said:' third aim of alumni office is financial support of civil, scientific and educational programs of University'.

At following, Dr. Gatmiri vice chancellor of alumni office said about process of establishment and activities of this office.

He added:' most important aims of alumni office are effective scientific relation among University and alumni, exploitation of alumni ability to  promote University placement and most important activities of this  Office are establishment of sub-offices in schools and hospitals and holding conferences with alumni and responsible, holding graduation Ceremony, establishment of scientific, cultural foundation of Dr. Bahadori for attract financial support of alumni resident abroad and holding annual conference of Professional commitment'.

At following, Dr. Ghenaati Dean of University said:' you can hold these activities with aid cyber space,also emphasizing the operation of the alumni database, he said: "This information can be effective in establishing communication between alumni and creating joint cooperation and transfer of experiences between alumni and even the general public."

The president of the university continued his remarks by reminding that graduates living abroad can help a lot in meeting some of the needs in these days when our country is under sanctions. These graduates can also help us a lot in introducing the achievements in the country by local experts and providing information about innovations and new achievements that have taken place abroad.

He considered the presence of valuable and veteran professors effective in motivating young students to stay in the country and added: "Iran belongs to everyone and everyone has a duty towards its development and with proper culture, we should motivate young people to stay." He had more plans for the goals of the Islamic Republic of Iran. 

The President of the University emphasized on paying more attention to ethical issues along with scientific issues and reminded: compiling a cultural appendix along with scientific activities can play an important role in transmitting Iranian Islamic culture and the experiences of university graduates.

Emphasizing the effort to maintain the path of truth and truth throughout life, he said: The Office of Alumni Relations can have more programs to strengthen the scientific dimension of young students by introducing new inventions and innovations of university graduates around the world while preserving the country's indigenous culture. 

At the end of his speech, the President of the University described the presence of Professor Bahadori in this collection as valuable and added that due to Corona conditions, the possibility of holding face-to-face meetings has decreased, but by using the cyberspace platform, we can Provide in advance.

He added: "One of our programs is to introduce the greatness of the country and the great progress of the country in the field of medical sciences to graduates living abroad to know that the Iranians they left are very different from today and domestic experts have made great strides in development and progress." Professor Bahadori pointed out that in all the meetings and sessions that are held with the presence of graduates inside and outside the country, as a veteran university graduate, I express the progress that has taken place in the field of medical sciences in Iran.

Dr. Bahadori at the end of his speech, expressed hope that with the support of the president and the board of directors of the university, we can strengthen the graduates' network and network to introduce Iranian Islamic culture and introduced its positive points to the world in scientific, cultural and spiritual issues.
