Late Professor Bahadri: The basis of the work of this office is to create solidarity and communication among students of different fields of Tehran University of Medical Sciences
Late Professor Muslim Bahadri, the former head of the alumni office expressed valuable words and fatherly advice in the integrated graduation celebration.
According to the Alumni Office report, the late professor Dr. Muslim Bahadri made the following speech at the fifth integrated celebration:
Dear officials, wise professors of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, dear graduates, dear guests, respected families, it is a great honour for me and the Alumni Office and the Faculty Alumni Offices to be able to serve you in this program. Welcome to the students of Tehran University of Medical Sciences in the academic year 2015-2016.
The basis of the work of the Alumni Office, which was established in 2006, is to create solidarity and communication among the graduates of different fields of Tehran University of Medical Sciences in different fields, especially this course.
This integrated celebration was held for two purposes, firstly, our main opinion is that Iranians see that all the graduates of Tehran University of Medical Sciences are integrated soldiers of the country in health and treatment fields. It doesn't matter what field they studied in and what level they are at, they all work together on the same plan, and that is to serve the university, the people, and the mass of the world community. This celebration, in particular, is a national symbol and shows the solidarity of various fields of medical sciences that serve the health of society.
The second goal is to show that Tehran University of Medical Sciences is the oldest, most equipped and highest university of the country and the university of the region, which with a history of more than a hundred years is still up-to-date and 1st rank among the great universities of the world. The task of this university is not only to train doctors, pharmacists, dentists and nurses, but also to train all the disciplines that we need in the service of the health of the society. This service is owed to three groups, the first is the professors of Tehran University of Medical Sciences in all faculties, who are ready day and night to educate young people. Second, the young people who are the best and choose Tehran University of Medical Sciences when choosing their fields, and you, the graduates present at the ceremony, are an example of them.
Our third goal is for the families of graduates who worked hard so that their children could get to Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
Today, about 1,500 students and their families are present in this celebration. All these works have been done so that we can show the greatness of the Iranian nation and their dear students.
I would like to thank the respected colleagues of the Alumni Office, headquarters and faculties who worked hard to organize this ceremony, especially the album of the names and pictures of most of the graduates of Tehran University of Medical Sciences who will graduate this year has been prepared and is available for you. It will be as a souvenir for you.
As an old man of the university, I thank all of you who participated in this ceremony with great interest in this hot weather and I hope you have a good time and it will be a memorable and unforgettable night for you.
