In donation ceremony of Medal, Prof. Reginster head of national associations of I.O.F foundation said:’ it’s my honor to donate this valuable prize to Dr. Larijani, because he is prominent professor in the world because he devoted notable share of its time to treatment of Iranian Osteoporosis patients.’

He added:’ Accordance to his activities and his guide by metabolism and endocrines center, many educational programs have been done in order to increase of national awareness of Osteoporosis.’

He also said:’ one of important achievements of this research center, determination of disease load. `Shining activities of this center in Osteoporosis day is very important.’

Endocrines and metabolism center of Tehran University of Medical Sciences is one of active members of CNS and in this field and also in the field of basic research, clinical and interdisciplinary researches.

In International osteoporosis foundation has been written:’ in 2 past decades main aim of endocrines and metabolism center was clinical, basic sciences, diabetes and none-communicable diseases. Dr. Larijani has been able to play an effective role in this field and with aim of decrease of diseases load in the country.

This committee contains 240 members and 99 countries, with aim of making policy, research, giving services to people with bone diseases.
