Meeting Nanotechnology alumni representatives with chancellor of alumni office

TUMSAO News: in the meeting that was held with presence of alumni office chancellor and Nanotechnology alumni representatives, cooperation fields with each other and University was investigated.

At the first of this meeting, Dr. seyed Ahmadian noted to University awareness importance from its alumni situation, emphasized that students and alumni must introduce their course and its abilities to society. Establishing groups contain different alumni can provide scientific activities field.

Alumni office secretary noted to different cooperation with different University alumni added that TUMS’s alumni character is unique and we must provide interdisciplinary courses to solve society problems.

At continuation of this meeting, Dr. Gatmiri vice chancellor of alumni office said:’ with graduation from TUMS, that alumnus will be related to TUMS forever and it’s a great duty to provide appropriate field for scientific activities.’ He also added:’ 1st University generation is education-based and 2nd University generation is research-oriented University and 3rd University generation is entrepreneurial and productive. In 3rd University generation, relation among alumni and University will continue.’

He also added:’ alumni office is at the first of its activities and for its activities needs alumni cooperation.’ He also emphasized on communication network for Nanotechnology alumni and expressed hope to participate more alumni in executive projects.

Dr. Bahadori chancellor of alumni office added:’ Education in this University mustn’t lead to receive a certificate only but also its alumni must have an important role in production and its way must extend to other Universities.’

 

At present meeting, Nanotechnology course representative expressed their offers and said about questions and ambiguities in cooperation fields and alumni responsible responded.
