     TUMSAO: In this meeting that was held on Saturday 22nd May, Dr. Gatmiri vice chancellor of alumni office and General manager of scientific, cultural foundation of professor Bahadori said:' due to the rising trend of the Corona virus in the country and the vaccination process, it seems that we will be affected by this disease until the end of the year, but this does not mean that this office and its affiliated offices forget their responsibilities and activities'.

    He added:' About 10 to 20 billion tomans of financial resources are needed to buy and build the location of the Dr.Bahadori Foundation, which can be done through the foundation aids, the branches of the Alumni Office and the professor houses'.

      He added:' this office was established in 2005 while no other university had such an office, and its beginning was accompanied by many problems and obstacles'.

       Dr. Getmiri continued:'new office, like the house of the professor and the scientific and cultural foundation of Professor Bahadori, may not be very active, but their structure has been improved and their promotion depends on the efforts of their officials.

       He also clarified about the lack of budget of the Alumni Office and the efforts of the its officials to attract financial resources for their office and added:' you should use the brand of the university and its professors to develop and advance your offices. Government and academic support for this office is very low and it can not help its branches financially, so officials, must work to attract resources.

       Then, Dr. Maryam Zahedi the manager of alumni office, presented a report on the vaccination process of the retired faculty of the university. He said: "Fortunately, the Medical System Organization implemented the vaccination plan for professors earlier than us, and with the vaccination of a large number of retired professors, the demand from this office decreased."

         She continued:' In the planning that was done for the first time, 130 professors who were not members of the Medical System Organization or could not refer to the Medical System Organization for any reason were vaccinated in the Imam Khomeini Hospital complex, and the second time vaccination will start next week. She explained the professors' request for their families vaccination:"Many professors requested that the vaccine belonging to them be injected into a member of their family, which was not possible due to the protocols.

    Dr. Mortazavi, responsible of Alumni office and the House of Professors of Razi Hospital, announced that the programs and activities of this office were not implemented due to the corona outbreak and expressed hope that the necessary measures would be taken to improve the conditions for retired professors in the hospital.

  Dr. Shahram Samadi, a member of the medical ethics department of the university, in his speech said that sending text message to retired professors on various occasions, will be encouraging them.

     At following, Dr. Yaghoubi, alumni office responsible in Sina Hospital, called the celebration of the 90th anniversary of Professor Hesabi, as one of the programs of this office in 2020 and said: "Although 50% of the guests did not attend for Corona pandemic, but this celebration caused happiness. He suggested that arrangements be made for visit of faculty members and their families at the time of the incident so that their work could be carried out more easily.

     Then Dr. Nima Rezaei, responsible of Alumni Office and the professor House of the Chretien's Medical Center, said: "In order to the professor's house to remain in the hospitals, clear rules must be developed because the existence of a room is not important." He added: "for the survival of these offices in hospitals, macro-policies should be done and people who have executive power should be in charge. Dr. Rezaei continued: "Unfortunately, professors who retire leave the university sadly and this is not worthy for a professor." I emphasize on teamwork in carrying out the activities of the alumni offices and the professor house, he said: "Colleagues should be on the job and should play a role from the time they come to this office. Of course, I think this work needs to be reviewed and meetings should also be done periodically in hospitals.

   Dr. Labaf, responsible of medical school, called for transparency in the duties and powers of the head of alumni office and also called for holding meetings virtually.

      At the end, Dr. Bahadori called highlighting the support of the university and this office for retired professors as one of the important goals of this office and added:'we should both provide services to professors and benefit from their services. This exchange will make us last. He considered the compilation of the statute of the professor's house as the reason for the consolidation and permanence of these offices and said: the compilation of this statute will introduce the great honors of the university to the society, especially the young generation. If we appreciate past professors, future ones will appreciate us too
