In the meeting of the Alumni Office officials of the affiliated colleges, which was held on Saturday, June 12, 2022 in the council hall of the Alumni Office, Dr. Seyed Mansour Getmiri, Head of the Alumni Office, stated that the fortieth ceremony of Professor Bahadori was held simply. He added: "Because the professor did not agree to hold noisy ceremonies, we held a small ceremony at his tomb with the presence of the professor's family."

He continued: "In the meetings we had with our colleagues, we were looking for a person who would rely on the position of head of the Alumni Office. In this regard, we also received several suggestions, although our idea was that no one may have merit this field." While there are prominent characters in the university, but the goal was to continue the activities of the office that should have been done.

Dr. Getmiri added: "In the meeting with the president of the university, I was convinced to take charge of this office. Of course, no one is going to rely on the position of Professor Bahadori. Maybe the only good thing about this choice was that I am at the service and ideas of Professor Bahadori.

He emphasized: "Because I have been in the service of Dr. Bahadori for many years, I will continue to manage this office under the management of Dr. Bahadori and his ideas and thoughts." I accepted this responsibility to implement Dr. Bahadori's thoughts, and I hope that this important thing will be achieved with all colleagues' help.

In another part of his speech, the new head of the Alumni Office said: "Professor Bahadori has given us so much detailed advice and guidance in every field that we can go on for years according to his intellectual taste." Many people who were acquainted with Dr. Bahadori have a lot of material and memories of him that they would like to express in some way. For this reason, we came to the conclusion that we should hold sessions entitled "Series of Professionalism topics" based on the thoughts and professional behaviour of the professor, and in each session, three to four people should talk about Professor Bahadori, and then write and publish the material. And provide it to the younger generation.

Dr. Gatmiri stated that Professor Bahadori always said in his speech that maybe tomorrow I will not be with you and you should be independent and do the right thing, he specified: Let's do this. As you know, one of the indicators of professional behaviour is continuous learning and that we update our knowledge, and this issue has always been emphasized by Professor Bahadori. The faculties can also cooperate in this field so that the professors of each faculty can express their experiences with Professor Bahadori and it will be published in a written form.

He pointed out: by holding these meetings, the name of the Dr. Bahadori will be alive. We also plan to hold professionalism meeting in the next seminar on professional commitment based on the ideas and professional behaviour of Professor Bahadori.

In another part of his speech, he said: "Considering that the outbreak of corona virus, which prevented the integrated celebration of graduates and to some extent has subsided, this year, with the decision of the president of the university, there is an opportunity for this ceremony to be held with the help of friends." In today's session, we will examine how to hold this ceremony.

Regarding the venue of the integrated celebration, Dr. Getmiri said: "The president of the university had great emphasis on the venue of the integrated celebration on the campus. In my opinion, the physical education space of the University of Tehran, the area between the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy and the heart conference centre is suitable.

Regarding the cost of holding the integrated celebration, he said: "We have to take part of the costs from the students."

Emphasizing on proper planning for the better performance of this celebration, he expressed hope that using the experiences of previous years, the pride of Tehran University of Medical Sciences will be portrayed once again.
