He considered the international students as the representatives and scientific ambassadors of Tehran University of Medical Sciences and Iran and specified: "Today is the result of your efforts, but the work is not done, you have reached a higher level of science and awareness." The Vice Chancellor for Education of the International Campus provided a summary of the education situation of the international students of the university and stated: Currently, 1,340 foreign students from 48 countries are studying at the university.

Dr. Rezayat announced the total number of international graduates as 405 and said: "Today, we are hosting 117 of these students from 16 countries presently and on-line, which is a great honour."

Referring to the education of international students in all faculties of the university, he added: "Currently, the largest number of foreign students are studying in medical schools, which shows the growing trend of schools such as rehabilitation, nursing and midwifery and paramedical students in the near future." The Vice Chancellor for Education of the International Campus also addressed the gender segregation of the university's international students, stating that 54% of the students are boys and more than 45% of them are girls.

Expressing his happiness at attending the International Alumni Association, he said: "Tehran University of Medical Sciences started accepting foreign students with a small number of applicants and today we are very happy that the capable international team of the university is witnessing the achievement of this great and valuable action."
